Our Story
Formed in 2004

Nestled in the heart of downtown Stillwater, Oklahoma is a unique haven for some of the smallest and most vulnerable living among the community...orphaned kittens.
A heart-warming story with humble beginnings similar to the multitude of kittens it would go on to save, Tiny Paws Kitten Rescue began life without a permanent home. Founded in the home of former director of the Stillwater Humane Society, Holly Chapples, the idea of a neonatal kitten rescue began to grow and develop in it's foster environment. Holly understood the detriment caused by the void that existed in local and state rescue efforts for orphaned neonatal kittens. These kittens had no chance at life due to exhaustive cost (time, effort and money) required to care for such high risk infants. Through the compassion and dedication of many volunteers, generous donations and grant support, Tiny Paws has grown exponentially over the years and is now housed in a renovated building that (much like it's current occupants) had been abandoned. Since 2004, Tiny Paws has not only saved, but has found loving homes and created ever-lasting bonds for over 5000 kittens that otherwise would have died or been euthanized.
This is all made possible by the generously engaged community of donors, sponsors, volunteers, and staff found here in Payne County, Okla. along side benevolent funding from wonderful organization dedicated to our life-saving mission from beyond our local community!
We can't say "THANK YOU!" enough for all the support we are shown in endeavors but we're sure gonna try!
